I was updating my evolving LinkedIn page and realized that I was listing things I did at jobs and also listing the same things in skills. Is there a conflict in listing these in both places?

I've had a LinkedIn profile for some time, mainly to keep in touch with colleagues. As I have completed more and more information, I have received more contacts from very targeted people searching to fill positions. I can't imagine the power of this tool if my profile, and information, were specifically targeted to job searching. I look forward to talking about past accomplishments and sharing my expertise.

I found this article very interesting, and while I find Linked In to be valuable I only find about 20-30% of the recruiters I talk to even mention it as a resource.
