Hi Jeff and everyone reading,

Thanks for the encouraging words about Hounds Around Town and our recent marketing efforts. We simply wanted to raise awareness about the benefits we all receive when a local community like ours patronizes local shops. To everyone out there, let me emphasize one of Jeff's points: this was not hard or expensive(!)

As the driver who was out the day before the big snow storm hanging sample bags on doorknobs around the Eastside, I am relieved to hear that this effort wasn't all for naught, all to common a refrain among small business owners' self-directed marketing.

Cheers & Go Pack,

Cinda,

I am a small business guy. I wish there was a 3/50 project for service companies like mine. It is a great program.

Thank you so much for your kind words about The 3/50 Project--every voice counts!

As an awareness campaign, we're happy to "connect the dots" between consumers and the locally owned, independent brick and mortar merchants. We're all about keeping it simple and affordable without throwing anyone under the bus or expecting folks to completely give up big boxes or online shopping entirely (a pretty unrealistic scenario for most). And we're about making it easy and CHEAP for a small business to spread the word, offering a plethora of free marketing items on our website.

The voice of a single business is an aria. The voices of thousands of businesses joined together is a rafter-rattling choir. Time to begin singing, everyone...!

Here’s to big things ahead for all the little guys out there,
